Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This page explains our practices in plain, parent-friendly language.
Built for kids’ privacy
AlphaPlay is designed for children, so privacy is our first priority. We collect the minimum needed to provide a safe, personalised experience and nothing more.
What we collect
A child’s first name or nickname, date of birth, learning progress, rewards and parent-selected content settings, plus a parent’s email for account and safety notices. Date of birth is used to calculate age and choose an appropriate experience. We do not require children to publish real identities.
No ads, no selling
We show no third-party advertising and we never sell personal data. AlphaPlay is not an advertising platform.
Parental control
Parents manage content levels, topic exclusions, subscriptions and account settings in the Parent Zone. Set the optional Parent PIN in Settings to lock parent areas on each device; they remain open until a PIN is configured. Parents can request access to or deletion of their child’s data by emailing us.
Payments
When a parent buys a plan, Digital Pages Pay collects the name, email address and billing address needed to take the payment and email the receipt, and HyperPay receives the card details directly for authorisation and 3-D Secure. AlphaPlay receives only a confirmation of the payment, the amount, an order reference and a receipt number, never the card number. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and protected with access controls and regular reviews.
