Frequently asked questions
Everything parents want to know before pressing play.
What age is AlphaPlay for?
AlphaPlay supports ages 3 to 17. A parent enters the child’s date of birth during signup so the app can select the right reading level, activities and controls.
Which languages are available?
AlphaPlay is available in Arabic and English. You can change the app language from Settings.
How do I find games and lessons for my child?
Choose a child’s profile to see games and lessons suited to their age. Browse the pages to find more activities from AlphaPlay’s online catalog. An internet connection is required, and access follows your subscription and parent controls.
Is it really ad-free?
Yes — 100%. AlphaPlay never shows third-party advertising and has no surprise in-app purchases inside the kids’ experience.
How do parental controls work?
The Parent Hub lets you set daily screen-time limits, manage optional sections and review learning progress. To protect it and Settings on this device, choose Set PIN in Settings. The PIN is optional; these areas remain open until it is configured. Available content also follows the child’s age and your subscription.
Does it work offline?
Games, lessons and other learning content require internet. Family Album photos already saved on your device remain stored when the connection is lost. Opening or reopening the album still requires an online access check; it can stay on the launch screen until verification succeeds. Backup and sync also need internet.
Why does a section say Coming soon?
Some sections stay visible with a Coming soon placeholder until they are available. Your saved content and progress are preserved. Availability is checked when you open a section, return to the app or within one minute while it is open. Your subscription and parent controls still apply when the section opens.
Is my child’s data safe?
Absolutely. We minimise the data we collect, never sell it, and design with children’s privacy first. Parents can review or delete data anytime.
How much does it cost?
Standard is 0.99 JD per month. Elite is 2.99 JD per month and adds Alpha Weekly, Alpha Books, Family Album and premium creative extras. Creating an account first requires a valid activation card. Each plan payment covers one month and does not renew automatically. Parents renew or upgrade in Settings, which can be locked with the optional Parent PIN.
How do I pay, and can I get a refund?
A parent chooses a plan in Settings and is taken to Digital Pages Pay’s secure checkout, where HyperPay processes Visa, Mastercard and mada. AlphaPlay never sees your card number, and a receipt is emailed to you. Duplicate charges and unused months can be refunded within 14 days; see Payments & refunds for the full terms.
What is Smart Level?
Smart Level is a growth indicator based on careful answers, completed activities, consistency and progress over time. It is not an IQ test, and speed alone never decides it.
What are Alpha Weekly and Alpha Books?
Alpha Weekly is an editor-reviewed children’s newspaper with age-level explanations, sources and a weekly quiz. Alpha Books is a safe reading world with vocabulary support and activities connected to the Alpha Skill Map. Both are included in Elite.
Who makes AlphaPlay?
AlphaPlay is created by Misbar for Information Technologies (misbar.work), a product studio that cares deeply about craft and kids.
How do I create an account?
Start with a valid, unused AlphaPlay activation-card code. One card activates one account. Enter the code in the app, create the parent account and add your child’s date of birth. If you need a card, choose Buy one now on the registration screen to open the Misbar store. After registration, sign in with your email and password or an email code; manage later plan renewals in Settings.
